Repurposed an old laptop (16:10 screen, yipee!) with Debian, and playing around with PhoneGap. I hate to admit it, but Java is a lot easier to setup on Windows … or maybe my Linux is just too rusty.
But now having slogged through dozens of Google searches, PhoneGap is compiling and deploying somewhat-happily (still get an non-critical warning that no one seems to know what to do about).
And I’m in love with the virtual windows again – so great for monkeying around with code (and browser testing, and server side script, and FTPing – anything with so many windows open all at once)!
