My PDF reader is a great utility because it ‘gets’ people who does word-work. There is nothing more satisfying than opening up a PDF and immediately starting where I left off the last time. And its free!

Word 2010 doesn’t get it.

(There’s a rumour floating around the internet that Shift+F5 does the job. That is not true. Apparently Word 2003 had it, but it was dropped in subsequent versions)

Now, fair enough, you can implement this feature as a macro in Word. But for a tool that has the sole purpose of putting words to paper – surely this would be a must have for anyone who writes anything more than a few pages.
