cheapest good coffee

Ever since we bought the coffee grinder we’ve been spoiled by freshly ground coffee supplied by a friend who roast his own beans (in a breadmaker and a heat gun!). But occasionally an espresso shot with foamy milk of some kind (we use plunger at home) is still a pretty nice treat when we are out.

Yesterday I happen to be in Martin Place at 8 in the morning and in need of a pick-me-up. Because I was pressed for time I quickly ordered at a shop in the MLC Centre – and to my surprise the small coffee was only $2.50! Despite the size designation it was perfectly respectable quantity, and very very good.

Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the shop. A look at MLC website didn’t help me recall the name either 🙁 However, its definitely in the food court (not the second level cafes), and its in the central area (not backing onto the walls of the food court) slightly to the left as you walk in, opposite the bathrooms.
